everything a dark haze

After returning from what was an excellent, I mean Xcellent, vacation I find myself wanting. Not for another vaction, although that would be very nice indeed. But instead wanting something else from my choosen career path, which is not of course proffessional spelling as you can tell. I sit in a windowless brick room in a window-challanged, cold war relic of an exscuse for a building with the same five or six people everyday all trying their best to ignore eachother and get as much, or as little, work done as possible while maintaining their sense of purpose and lack of preception of time, for it moves faster when you're not cheering it on. I'm here so I can be better in the future which probably really isn't going to be that good anyway, I could probably just work at walmart and sweep floors at two in the morning, which doesn't really sound that bad. but I must think of others not just myself, those others being my potential spawn, who will undoubtedly be sore at me if I can't pay for some kind of collage. The other also being my parent who worked very hard to NOT see me in some menial job, so here. I. am.
Comics: If you MUST read an O.C. (original continuity) X-men title, then look no further than Astonishing X-Men. It is writen superbly, which I can't say for the other X-titles.

I need some suggestions for ... whoevers out there. Please pick one: La Pucelle, Golden Sun, Shinobi, Ratchet and Clank, Metroid Prime. Post your answer in the comments section ;)

The Silent Hill

A friend of mine went on and on about Silent Hill. I haven't been much for the horror type games but he made it sound really awesome, so I guess a friend can talk me into a game better than millions (well, hundreds?) of people on the internet. To cut to the chase: I searched localy, to find only one copy at my local gamestop, sadly without case and instruction booklet. So During a trip to a major american city I looked there. To find NOTHING!! So tonight, I got the naked copy.

Excited I placed it in my PS2...

But alas, I was a sissy coward and turned it off after 5 minutes of creepy gameplay.

It was dark, and I'm alone, give me a break.

My weekend was not filled with videogames but somehting better, in most respects. I went and ....

You know, I really don't think anybody reads this.

So Maybe I'll just post when I feel like it, which isn't now.

So, I saw King Aurthur and his bloodless knights today. In my hummble opinion they should have said "screw that pg13 rating let's leave all this cool as ass blood and violence IN the movie and not try to cut it out and make the movie look like spider monkeys edited it" and went with the R rating. But it was a cool movie. in other news, I did bupkis in lab today. Wait ... I lied, I did go and get a foo-foo starbucks coffee, which of course was delicious.

There are COMMENTS now so please use them.

When I had initially started the Blog (pre Elusion aka annonymous attempt) thing I was trying to be funny. But now I think I will just "be funny" (read: entertain myself)when it comes to me because trying to think of stuff wastes time, which means less videogames for me. So there.

Later.
