Best Buy
Anyway, one of the things I bought was Gran Turismo 4 (GT4) It's pretty cool. I had it on my monitor and it looked good. But luckily my pal Adam has an HDTV. Holy crap! Beautiful. Although you can see all the little "flaws". It's not a very flashy game, graphically, unless you think cars are the equivalent of boobs. If that's the case then you better stay seated or else you'll embarrass yourself. Adam got the GTO, I bought, airborne. But sadly it didn't blow up or crash, it just miraculously landed back on it's wheels. The metal equivalent of a cat I suppose. We got kind of bored of it sorta quick. It's more of a game that one gets into. Which I'm looking forward to once the crap I have to do is done.
Anyway, Signs was on TV. It was getting interrupted by commercials. Ever notice that if you start watching a movie you have on DVD on the TV,you don't bother putting in the DVD? You continue to watch the TV version. Why is that? Damn mind control. Luckily, Adam's been conditioned to withstand such evil and put the DVD in which he miraculously had. Much better. Now the suspenseful parts weren't going to be interrupted by Windex commercials.
I actually like Signs. I think that and Unbreakable are pretty good movies. They don't really rely on 'twists' as much as M. Knights other movies. Thus more apt to be watched more than once. Even though I knew an alien was about to appear I was still pretty tense.
"It's called In The Pink, huh?" -Adam
"That's just wrong." -Tracey
