Battlestar Galactica

Some brief thoughts on Battlestar Galactica: I’m really interested in the story. It’s just too bad that I have to muscle my way through the show to get the story. Everyone talks like they’re tripping on acid. The camera man has constant seizures and seems to be confused as to what exactly the Zoom button does. The special effects are really well done, I just can’t see them as well as I’d like to because of the spastic camera man. The director/s or producer/s need to learn that two people staring at each other for minutes on end is not interesting. It’s boring and aggravating. And why does everyone whisper all the damned time?! Oh, I guess it’s the acid. And people licking each other like dogs and trying to taste what each other had for dinner is not sexy. It is revolting. I understand that they like each other but can’t they express that with out giving each other tongue baths? Not only that but it looks like whenever two people are talking, doesn’t matter the subject, it looks like they’re going to start making out.
As you can tell there are things I don’t like about the show. Mainly due to the human element (and the human-ish Cylons). I could deal with the camera work if the actors stopped getting hopped up on ecstasy and acid before the shoots. Reel it in people!
