of something that was to be said

A day or so ago I had, in my mind, a layout of a blog entry. Of course now when I get around to it I've forgotten whatever it was I was going to say. Not that it was going to be important or even interesting. It probably wasn't even going to have proper grammar or correct spelling. I've been trying to think what it was. I remember I thought it was very funny but I think farts are funny so that really isn't saying a whole lot. Maybe it was about the movies I saw this weekend, Serenity and The Corpse Bride. Both excellent movies, though I enjoyed the former much more that the later. Perhaps they were about comics? No. I haven't gotten any new comics since last I spoke to the internet. Games? Well, I did get We (heart) Katamari this weekend. It's just as weird and fun as the last game. Is this all my life is about? Stuff? Well, now that I think of it maybe it was about something more profound. Something’s are coming to mind but I don't feel like typing them out. Ahh, I was hunched over, so I sat up. I actually feel much more comfortable. Well, I've made quite the blog entry about thinking of blog entry's. If I was 10 years earlier I'd be a genius. Now I'm just a blatant copier. Should I tell you all a story? Nah, it'll take to long to type. And if it didn't it wouldn't be a story or it wouldn't be a good story. I'll attempt. When I get bored I'll just stop. I'll try to make it short.

Long ago there was a young girl living in a small farming village a few miles form the castle. One day soldiers came from the castle looking for strong children and adults that could be spared from farming to build the new king his palace. Many were taken including the young girl's older brother. She was spared because he was too young and weak. She yelled at the soldiers and cried in the street once they left. A man came to her as the soldiers rode off with their cages of workers. He was tall and strong, caring a hammer and had shackles around his feet.
"Your brother will return." said the strong man.
"Why does he have to go?" she cried "No one cares. They just go about their business. My mother didn't even stop making bread when they came to get him."
"We all have do our part in this life in which we were born." The strong man replied as he went back to his work pounding metal.
"We shouldn't have to." she said softly "I'm going to bring him back!"
As she started to run the strong man shouted "Through the woods is shorter on foot!" And with that the young girl ran into the woods as fast as she could. The smiled as he settled back by his furnace.
"What are you smiling about? The girl's brother is not coming back soon and she'll never get him. And stop wasting time and get back to work!" said a portly man from the back of the house.
"Yes, sir." Said the strong man, still smiling.

To be continued ...
