Smallville tonight was great, as far as Smallville is concerned. Like many (all) episodes of this fine show it's littered with corny bits and eh-acting. The plot (conflict) in this episode does not focus (as it often does) on the weeks 'meteor freak' (and this one doesn't actually contain one of those) and subsequent shenanigans that he/she commits... too much. Lex is turning into a tried and true bad guy by looking to expand his business into that horrible, overused, entity known as national defense. At the expense of fish. If Lex was as smart as he and The Writers think he is then wouldn't he know that arbitrarily killing sea life in mass, willy-nilly would be ... not good ... for the economy or ... food... supply. Maybe he was also working on Indefinite fresh-as-if-caught-yesterday Refrigeration technology.
What made me giggle like a school girl and wiggle with excitement was a moment in the show after the trouble had been averted and A.C. (Arthur aka Aquaman) and Supe ... I mean Clark were talking.
Arthur "Maybe we should form a Junior Lifeguard Association or something?"
Clark "Nah, I don't think I'm ready for the JLA yet."
Me "AHHH!!! Heheheheheehehhe Ouuuuuu. Ahhhhh!!"
